Fillers & Sealants

We have a range of fillers and sealants to meet the needs of the profesional or enthusiastic DIY'er. Our fillers will plug any gap! Whether it's fine cracks, wood or plaster repairs we will have something that does the job. Our fillers come in several forms including powdered and ready mixed and we have a range of colours including magnolia, white, brown and clear. Remember when using fillers to rake lose plaster from the crack with the corner of a filling knife or scaper. Using a small paintbrush, dampen the crack with water to make the filler dry slowly - this helps to stop it shrinking and falling out of the crack. Preparation is everything! We have a variety of sealants including silicone sealants and decorators caulk for use with one of our mastic/caulking guns. Remember with sealants to clean the surface and make sure it is dry and free from dust and any other material. Cartridge sealants have excellent gap filling properties but will cannot perform miracles! For larger cracks make sure that you use a filling material first. When applying keep a steady pressure and speed for a smooth continuous finish.
